When you think of Charleston, Rainbow Row is probably one of the first things that come to mind. The iconic colorful houses make up the foundation of the colorful, coastal aesthetic that is the Holy City.
I’d like to use my platform to encourage change and help end social injustice. I want to start by encouraging people to put their money back into the Black community, so here is a list of minority-owned Charleston businesses to support.
While it’s easy to spend a pretty penny in Charleston (hello, King Street), some of the city’s most popular attractions include free admission. It is entirely possible to enjoy a weekend or an entire week in the Holy City on a budget!
